Anisatul Fatema Yousuf
Dialogue and Communication
Prior to joining CPD, Ms Anisatul Fatema Yousuf served the National Academy for Planning and Development, Government of Bangladesh, as Director (Training). At CPD she has been providing leadership to the organization of high profile multi-stakeholder policy dialogues, as well as its publication and dissemination related activities. She has taught in Dhaka University and also in Ottawa University, Canada. She has also worked as evaluation and training consultant with organisations such as ADB, UNESCO, WFP, DFID and Royal Danish Embassy in Bangladesh. Fatema has authored a book chapter on Social Issues related to WTO and is a co-author of a CPD published monograph on Economic Costs of Domestic Violence in Bangladesh. She is a member of the Governing Body of Manusher Jonno Foundation, an NGO that promotes human rights and good governance in Bangladesh. Fatema received an MS in Economics from the University of Ottawa, Canada. She had earlier obtained another Masters degree in Economics from University of Dhaka.
