Post-2015 Data Test is Showcased in OECD’s Development Co-operation Report 2017

The multi-country project titled Post-2015 Data Test, which was Co-led by CPD, Southern Voice and the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University, has been featured in Case Studies on Data for Development, of OECD’s Development Co-operation Report 2017: Data for Development.

The project examined country priorities of Bangladesh, Canada, Peru, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Tanzania and Turkey, and challenges related to accessing data and measuring progress on a select set of potential post-2015 goals, targets and indicators. By identifying both the technical and political determinants of data-gaps, the initiative motivated a variety of actors to take action towards improving data availability.

CPD also functions as the Secretariat of the Southern Voice network – a partnership of 49 think tanks from Africa, Asia and Latin America.
