Professor Rehman Sobhan nominated for Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal

 

 

A jury board of eleven members consisting of eminent personalities in different sectors of society nominated Prof Rehman Sobhan for the medal.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has selected economist Prof Rehman Sobhan for ‘Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal-2016’ in recognition of his outstanding contributions to economical and educational activities.

Prof Sobhan has written a number of books, articles and essays on economy,which are internationally renowned ones. There are 27 books, 15 research manuals and 140 journal publications on various topics written by him.

A jury board of eleven members consisting of eminent personalities in different sectors of society nominated Prof Rehman Sobhan for the medal. The medal will be formally handed over to him very soon, said a DAM press release.
