The second major report coincides with the opening of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly. Building on the first edition, which produced ideas on the content of the new goals, this new publication shifts the focus from ‘what’ to ‘how’, as the international community enters its final year of deliberations on the framework.

It features recommendations by over 50 contributors from the UN system, government, business and civil society and focuses on financing, delivering results, data collection, sharing knowledge and widening the participation.

Together, the articles provide a source of ideas, practical actions, analysis and case studies on the partnerships and programmes needed to create a development agenda that is truly shared, in terms of both responsibilities and benefits.
