The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is offering internship opportunities to young aspirants who are interested to pursue a research-oriented career, particularly in the area of global 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. CPD internship will provide individual(s) an excellent opportunity to have intensive interaction with a leading civil society think tank in Bangladesh, and to gain first-hand exposure in frontier developmental issues and related critical policy challenges facing the country. CPD will involve the Interns in its ongoing research programmes, where they will be required to provide supervised research inputs. The internship also provides opportunities to participate in various in-house, national and international dialogues, organised by the CPD on a regular basis.
The candidates need to have a recently completed Post-graduate degree in Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, Business Administration or other Social Science disciplines (e.g. International Relations, Public Administration etc.), with a minimum CGPA of 3.50. Those awaiting Masters result may also apply.
Interns will be expected to provide support to the core research teams at CPD. Good analytical abilities, excellent drafting skills in both Bangla and English, strong communication skills and high computer literacy are essential requirements. They should also be willing to work under pressure in a highly competitive environment.
An allowance of Tk. 15,000 per month will be offered to an Intern. Interns will be recruited for a maximum of three months, and based on their performance, they may be offered the post of Programme/Research Associate at CPD.
