CPD organised an in-house discussion on Civil-Military Relations in Pakistan: Continuity or Change? on 13 November 2012 at the CPD Dialogue Room. A presentation on the topic made by Dr Aqil Shah, Post-doctoral Fellow, Society of Fellows, Harvard University initiated the discussion. In his presentation Dr Shah shared his perspectives on the dynamics of relationship between civilian authorities and military establishment in the context of Pakistan.
Parliamentarians and political leaders, former government officials, diplomats, security experts, media personnel and senior CPD researchers attended the meeting.
