The book attempts to review the behaviour of key macroeconomic indicators during FY2008-09, identify a number of emerging challenges confronting macroeconomic management over FY2009-10, analyse various proposals in the national budget for FY2009-10, and various other aspects including – growth prospect, budget implementation, domestic resource mobilisation, ADP implementation, PPP and steps taken by the Bangladesh bank to control inflation. The volume also includes four annexes on dialogue reports and chronology of important economic events during January-December 2009.
