CPD organises dialogues to stimulate constructive engagement and informed exchange of views to advance the cause of a participatory, inclusive and accountable development process in Bangladesh. Apart from the issues of national importance, CPD dialogues also focus on those that concern regional and global interests of Bangladesh and other low income countries.
Since its inception, CPD organised numerous national level and international, regional, and bilateral dialogues. It has established its credibility as one of the leading platforms in Bangladesh where government representatives, political leaders, civil society members, academics, researchers, development partners and members of relevant interest groups participate in dialogues about key issues of developmental concern and interest.
The dialogic culture introduced by CPD play a catalytic role in generating and disseminating knowledge, promoting the culture of inclusion and most importantly highlighting the voice of the marginalised groups in the development process.
