Year in Review 2022: Human and Labour Rights in the RMG Sector
CPD is assessing the scope of decent employment and human and labour rights practices in the RMG sector. CPD also highlighted the conceptual issues related to the state’s role in implementing the United Nations Guiding Principles (UNGPs) in businesses, reviewed the current state of human and labour rights practices under the UNGP framework in the RMG sector, analysed the role of the government agencies in enforcing UNGPs, and put forward a set of recommendations.
