Ms Preetilata Khondaker Huq is working as a Programme Associate (Research) at Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) since October 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Economics from BRAC University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Development Studies (MDS) at the same institution.

At CPD she has gained experience working on programmes such as ‘Multi-layered Connectivity in the Bay of Bengal: Positioning Bangladesh as a Regional Economic Hub’, with the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, ‘Support Development Collaboration for Climate Change and Gender Equality in Bangladesh by Improving Regional Learning and Policymaking Process’ with the Gates Foundation, and has made significant contributions at CPD’s flagship programme, the ‘Independent Review of Bangladesh’s Development (IRBD)’.

In addition to research, she also has experience in editing, logistical planning, communications, etc. Her research interests include trade, labour issues, gender, employment and climate change.
