Ms Ibnat Hasan is currently serving as a Programme Associate in the Research Division at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), where she is working within Dr Fahmida Khatun’s team.

While pursuing her Bachelor of Social Science in Economics at Brac University, she held the position of President of the Economics Club, where she was the initiator and lead for the Students’ Economic Journal.

Ms Ibnat further enhanced her research skills on Bangladeshi data sets during her tenure as a Research Assistant at Brac University before joining CPD. Her primary interests are social safety net programmes, unconditional fund transfers and cash incentives, which stemmed from her undergraduate research work.
