Graduated in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet (SUST), Sayed Arafat Zubayer has done his internship at SANEM. Earlier, he was an official contributor to the national daily The Business Standard. He is also pursuing his master’s in economics from SUST.

Having a strong interest in applied economics and big data, he is passionate about the implications of different econometric techniques in real-world dynamics, and is comfortable in analyzing data through several data analysis software (i.e., Excel, STATA, Power BI, Python, EViews, etc). Apart from some opinion articles published in the national dailies, he has co-authored a few peer-reviewed journal articles.
