Md. Khalid Mahmud is a Programme Associate (Engineering) in the Research Division of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in the same field. His research interests include renewable energy, mini-grid design and techno-economic analysis, power electronics, and smart grid technologies. He is proficient in software tools such as HOMER Pro, PVsyst, MATLAB, and other relevant simulation platforms. Prior to joining CPD, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Green Energy Research Centre (GERC), IUB.
