CPD Climate Week 2026

Call for Papers

Are you ready to share your ideas and shape the future of climate action?

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is inviting early career researchers to present fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and solutions to the climate crisis.

📅 Tentative Conference Dates: 3-4 October 2026

We welcome papers on the following themes:

  • Climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies
  • Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate challenge
  • Urban heat stress management
  • Impacts of climate change on agriculture, health, and livelihoods
  • Renewable energy and low-carbon transitions
  • Climate justice, gender equity, and community resilience
  • Green Transition and Just Transition
  • Climate finance, policy, and governance
  • Sectoral impacts of climate change (e.g., agriculture, health, and livelihoods)
  • Green jobs creation
  • Advancing Sustainable Development in a Changing World
  • Advancing green technologies, circular economy models, and digital solutions
  • Harnessing AI for climate resilience

Who can apply?

Early career researchers — including final year undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, and PhD students, and professionals (up to 30 years of age).

How to submit:

  • Fill out the registration form and send a 300-word abstract to climateweek@cpd.org.bd with the subject, “CPD Climate Week International Conference – Abstract Submission”
  • Deadline for abstract submission: 15 August 2026
  • Notification of abstract acceptance: 25 August 2026
  • Full paper/presentation submission: 20 September 2026
