On 27 July 2020, the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) organised a virtual brainstorming session on the topic of gender equality, under the CPD-UNDEF project titled, Advancing Responsiveness and Accountability through Citizen Engagement in Bangladesh.
Experts in the field like Ms Shaheen Anam, Executive Director, Manusher Jonno Foundation; Ms Nobonita Chowdhury, Director, Preventing Violence Against Women Initiative; Ms Khushi Kabir, Member, CPD Board of Trustees and Coordinator, Nijera Kori; Ms Shahnaz Sumi, Deputy Director, Bangladesh Nari Progoti Sangha; Ms Rekha Chowdhury, Movement Secretary, Bangladesh Mahila Parishad and Ms Tamanna Huq, Programme Manager, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) joined the session and shared their insights on the topic.
