CPD presented its national budget recommendations to the faculty members and students of North South University (NSU), creating a platform for informed discussion on Bangladesh’s economic priorities and fiscal challenges. The session focused on engaging and educating young people on public finance, budgetary governance and policy reforms, while encouraging greater youth participation in national economic discourse. Through interactive discussions, students exchanged views on inflation, employment, taxation, social protection and development priorities, highlighting the importance of evidence-based policymaking and informed civic engagement among future leaders.
