“The sector which should be given the most importance, is not given properly. The budget has come out as like as the traditional one”
Executive Director of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Dr Fahmida Khatun has said that the performance indicator monitoring system should be done perfectly to implement the budget goal from the beginning.
“Implementation, implementation and implementation,” Dr Fahmida Khatun told in her reaction on the budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
“The sector which should be given the most importance, is not given properly. The budget has come out as like as the traditional one,” she added.
Managing Director Mir Nasir Hossain, also the former president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) said, “The health sector should get the highest priority in this crisis period. But unfortunately, it does not get the that priority in the proposed budget. It is not acceptable.”
“The government should use the political will to implement the budget goal,” he urged.
