Due to its geographic location and land characteristics, Bangladesh is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, which includes rising sea levels, floods, and frequent extreme weather events. As a result, the country incurs a significant loss and damage owing to climate-related shocks every year. Given the country’s aspiration to become a developed country, it is crucial to identify further areas of collaboration for addressing the climate change related challenges. This policy brief proposes a number of recommendations for enhancing collaboration for resilience and sustainability. The recommendations emphasise enhancing the capacity of local government actors, facilitating women in climate resilient agriculture, increasing private sector participation in developing climate resilience, promoting nature-based solutions and ecosystem-based adaptations, developing collaborative online platforms, and increasing collaboration with international development partners.
