China’s Accession to the WTO
Consequences for Bangladesh’s Export-Oriented RMG Sector
This paper examines the consequences of China’s accession to the WTO and its potential ramifications for Bangladesh. The Chinese economy, in particular the RMG sector, is analysed and compared to that of Bangladesh. Based on this analysis, recommendations are made.
