The interim government of Bangladesh established the ‘Labour Reform Commission’, tasked with proposing reforms to improve labour rights and workers’ welfare. The commission is formed as part of addressing various structural, institutional, operational, weaknesses concerning workers’ life and livelihood. Against this backdrop, CPD prepared this discussion paper to reform agenda for the interim government for the betterment of workers’ well-being and workers’ rights. This paper will be placed to the labour reform commission for necessary consideration.
