    The Parliament of Bangladesh: Representation and Accountability

    The main objective of the study presented in this paper is to generate knowledge about the actual and potential role of the parliament in Bangladesh. The paper comprises discussion on historical evolution of nine parliaments in the country and its structure, institutions and functions; parliament’s role of representation and its accountability to the voters and citizens, as well as in legislation and budget formulating and scrutiny.
