Ms. Afrin Mahbub is working as a Programme Associate (Research) at Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). She has completed her Bachelor of Science in Economics from American International University- Bangladesh (AIUB). At CPD she has gained experience working on projects such as “Bangladesh-Japan Partnership for the Next Development Journey” and the “Independent Review of Bangladesh’s Development (IRBD).” Currently Ms. Mahbub is working on a project titled “CPD Green Cities Initiative.” Ms. Mahbub’s key interests lie in areas related to ICT, human capital development, gender-based inequality, and macroeconomic policy. Prior to joining CPD, Ms. Afrin Mahbub worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) from June 2021 to January 2022.
