Ms Anika Tasnim Arpita is a dedicated professional serving as a Programme Associate within the Research Division at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), where she collaborates closely with one of the esteemed economists, Professor Mustafizur Rahman. Arpita’s journey into the area of economic research began during her academic tenure at North South University (NSU), where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
During her academic journey, Arpita distinguished herself as a versatile individual, serving as a Teaching Assistant within the Economics department and later advancing to the role of Research Assistant. Her academic and professional endeavors have encompassed diverse projects, such as ‘The Growth Accounting Framework of Bangladesh’ and ‘The Effect of Formal and Informal Financial Development on Income Inequality’.
Prior to joining CPD, Arpita honed her skills and gained valuable insights during her internship at HSBC Bangladesh, where she developed a foundational understanding of financial dynamics and organisational operations.
