Ms Anindita Islam is working as a Programme Associate in the research division. She finished her undergraduate degree at McGill University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. Her research interests lie in International Trade, Environmental and Ecological Economics, Development Economics, the Underground Economy and Policy impact and Analysis.

Anindita’s work experience includes an internship at Grameen Bank in their International Department, where she carried out field surveys and focus group discussions and wrote case studies. She also briefly worked as a Research Assistant on a project at the Centre for Agribusiness at North South University, where she analysed descriptive statistics to support the research.
