While dedicated to his role within the CPD Power and Energy Unit, Mr. Faisal Quaiyyum exemplifies an unwavering commitment to advancing academic and policy research, recognizing the boundless nature of his pursuits. Acknowledging the absence of a satiation point, he is acutely aware of the transformative potential inherent in the Power and Energy Sector—one of the most crucial sectors poised to shape the landscape of society, economy, business, and politics in Bangladesh.

As a fervent advocate for data-driven informed policy-making, Mr. Quaiyyum employs quantitative micro-modeling and macro-modeling methodologies to systematically address challenges within the power and energy sector.

A valedictorian graduate with a Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Economics from the University of Dhaka, Mr. Quaiyyum brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His multifaceted experience spans experimental, financial, environmental, and macroeconomics, complemented by proficiency in data science, R Programming, Stata, EViews, Microsoft Office Suite, and ArcGIS.
