Ms Farha Tasneem is currently working as a Programme Associate in the Research Division.
She completed her B.S.S. in Economics from the University of Dhaka and is currently
pursuing her M.S.S. there, with a research focus on international migration and household
welfare. Her academic and professional interests include labour economics, household
well-being, human capital development, gender, and the history of economic thought.
Farha previously interned at SANEM, where she contributed to a policy study on FDI and
LDC graduation. She also worked as an Economics instructor at 10 Minute School and
supported a CGIAR survey as an audio auditor.
