Marioum Akter Mou is a Programme Associate (Communication and Network) at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). Previously, she worked as a Communication Associate at Chemonics International in the USAID Ecosystems/Protibesh Activity Project. Prior to that, she was a Junior Operations Officer at Madhouse PR and Assistant Producer at TBN24 Television. She completed her internship at Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).

Ms Akter pursued her Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in Media Studies and Journalism with a major in Communication for Development. She is currently doing her Professional Master’s in Environmental Planning, Management, and Sustainable Development from the University of Dhaka.

Her expertise includes content creation, media relations, social behavioral change communication (SBCC) strategies, ecosystem conservation, and climate resilience.
