Ms Sabiha Sharmin is working as a Programme Associate in the Research Division. She completed her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka and is currently pursuing her Master’s in the same subject. Ms Sabiha is particularly interested in the areas of macroeconomics, development economics, labour market economics, and gender issues.

Previously, Ms Sabiha worked at the Monetary Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank and served as a contributing writer for Prothom Alo, one of the country’s leading newspapers.
