Ms. Safrina Kamal is working as a Programme Associate (Research) in the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). Prior to joining CPD she worked as a Research Assistant in the Economics Research Platform (ERP) at North South University (NSU).

She has obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from North South University, where she graduated summa cum laude. During her time as a student and later as a researcher, Safrina found herself greatly interested in development problems, the workings of the economy, and the decision-making of economic actors. She believes her knowledge, skills and intellectual curiosity can aid in making her work impactful and interesting to the wider population.
