The Chair of the Southern Voice network, Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya, addressed the international conference, “ South Asian Economic Development: The Way Forward ” hosted by the Faculty of Economics, South Asian University in New Delhi on April 9-10, 2015.
He spoke on the Quest for Inclusive Growth in South Asia at a panel discussion, which was chaired Abhijit Sen, Professor of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Member, 14th Finance Commission, India.
The other speakers of the session were Rashid Amjad, Professor of Economics and Director, Graduate Institute of Development Studies, Lahore School of Economics, Pakistan; Danny Atapattu, Senior Professor of Economics, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka; and Ashwani Saith, Emeritus Professor, International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
