The papers in this compendium represent the very best of the research presented at CPD Climate Week 2025. The conference drew an overwhelming response from young researchers, with 315 paper abstracts submitted from across the country and beyond. Following a rigorous blind peer-review process, 54 papers were selected for presentation across six thematic streams. At the conclusion of the conference, one best paper from each thematic stream was recognised for its methodological rigour, analytical strength, originality, and policy relevance. These six award-winning papers were subsequently selected for publication in this compendium and underwent a further independent blind peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality. Through this publication, CPD seeks to recognise and encourage these promising young scholars while fostering a culture of rigorous, policy-relevant climate research that can contribute meaningfully to Bangladesh’s sustainable development journey.
